How many treatment sessions are required?

Each treatment can vary on the number of sessions to see results. At your first laser appointment, your aesthetician with discuss a treatment plan with you and go over how many sessions/intervals are required to see best results! We highly recommend purchasing a package plan depending on the treatment

Is the laser treatment painful?

Depending on the treatment, you may experience a mild sensation of heat that is very tolerable. However, most treatments are pain free! What do I need to do prior to the procedure?

• Discontinue Retinol products 48 hours prior to your appointment

• Avoid any spray tans or self-tanner at least two weeks prior to your appointment

• Those who are pregnant or are prone to keloid scarring cannot receive a laser treatment.

• Avoid longer periods of sun exposure at least two weeks prior to appointment. If skin becomes sunburned, we cannot treat that area.

Can the laser be used on dark skin?

Actually, the LightPod Neo is the safest laser in the industry for darker skin types or tanned skin. This is because of MicroPulse-1064 technology, which essentially eliminates treatment pain while minimizing the chances of hyper and/ or hypo-pigmentation. Patients with skin types IV-VI should be treated very cautiously, especially in the facial region, as they pose a higher risk of having hyper and/or hypo-pigmentations.
